Xero Plan Changes (2024)
From 12 September 2024, Xero has announced a change to their current pricing and plans.
Pricing changes will come into effect for all new subscriptions from the 12th September and all existing subscriptions from the 1st
of November
(for the October billing period).
Pricing Changes:
Xero are launching three new streamlined business plans (Xero Ignite, Xero Grow and Xero Comprehensive) and enhancing their Ultimate plan.
The new pricing will be reflective of these new plans (further info below) but will only impact those currently on a Starter, Standard,
Premium or Ultimate plan initially.
We have also made the decision to adjust how we oncharge these due to the costs of collecting these charges and are encouraging all clients who have a Xero account through us to set up a Direct Debit for payment.

*Clients of PKF Dunedin who have a Direct Debit set-up to pay for their Xero subscription will automatically receive a minimum discount of 10% off the Xero monthly rate. To set up a direct debit please see the link: GoCardless Setup.
All pricing is in NZD and excludes GST. The price of any optional add-ons you may currently have as part of your subscription will not change. If you have a current Xero promo code, it will continue to be applied to the new pricing, until the code expires.
Plan changes:
The new plans will replace GST Cashbook, Starter, Standard and Premium plans which will no longer be sold from 12 September 2024. Existing
add-ons will no longer be available for separate purchase from this date. There will be no changes to current plans until February 2025 at
the earliest and we will be working with all of our clients to ensure they are on the most cost effective plan that will offer them the
functionality they require.
These new simplified plans are designed to provide you with easier access to the tools to help run your business. That means no add-ons, as more key features are included in plans. This includes Xero payroll and Xero projects.
